Day off

one-handed typing. no caps.

she woke a few more times last night and i was able to comfort her with my hand on her back. at 5:30 am, though (6:30 samara time) she was wide awake and not happy alone, so i held her quietly and we snuggled until 6:30. Okay, she's off...caps are possible.

The doctor was scheduled to come to our hotel today at 7:30 am to check her out for the embassy. Got her fed and dressed. I chose today's outfit for her, got her dressed, and then realized my only clean shirt is red and my blue jeans need a break and could possibly benefit from a hotel cleaning, so Miss N and I are a matched set today, but not on purpose.
The doctor said she does not seem like a baby after the orphanage. She was not overly scared of him and warmed up quickly...he says many of the babies are scared of men and especially men like him with lots of hair and a mustache. He said she is very healthy except for her cold (she is very congested...you can probaly hear it in the videos).

More later, it is time for N's morning snack and hopefully nap.

Vids from yesterday after we got the hotel in Moscow. She started feeding me for the first time in the first one, so I turned on the camera for a while. Forgive the early camera work. I didn't know I could turn the screen and look at what I was filming until halfway through the second video, so the second one is more me than her.
