Crossing my fingers

So last night was our first night without the bumper in her crib. Now when she is lying in her crib, she can look over and see me without getting up. She still woke a few times, but I was able to put my hand through and comfort her once and twice I comforted her with my voice. This morning, she played quietly, looking out at me occasionally until she was ready to get out. Last night when I put her in her crib, she cried for about 30 seconds until I put her down again in a prone position and at that point I think she realized she could see me on my mattress.

Now if we can just move bedtime....we went to bed at around 10:30-11 last night and woke at 8:30 this morning. She had one long nap and two short ones yesterday because we spent so much time in the car, so I knew bedtime would run late.

That's progress and all you can ask for at this point! Great job Mommy!

Way to go, N! BTW, bumpers look nice but they recommend taking them out after age 12 months anyway. Toddlers can and do use them to climb out. Mine sure did try that!

Sounds like great progress. May you have many more sleep-filled nights.
