Here is my daddy putting Rust Cure on the shed on Sunday:

Here I am at Sea World in San Diego, touching a very slimy feeling bat ray:

Here is a bat ray coming out of the water at me because the people next to me had bought bat ray food. Scared the hell out of me the first time he splashed up at me and I was right there next to him!

Shamu flipping out. Glad I had my SLR, as the regular digitals have too much shooting delay to get this photo:

Again, hallelujah for the SLR. One of the coolest shows at the Wild Animal park was the Frequent Flyers show. These were some very well-trained birds! We sat on the front row and were close to an owl, an eagle, and various other birds who also flew where they were supposed to when they were supposed to, and probably the biggest treat for me was this guy, an Andean Condor. You can never get close to them in zoos:

Corey and the California coastline he loves so much:

Sad, but true, this is one of the best photos I was able to take while watching the Grunion run on the Coronado Strand near midnight our last night there. The little buggers were all flipping around and there was sea spray and no light except for the flash of my little camera...good photos were not to be had:

Great photos! Definitely worth the wait.
