No, I didn't take my camera

and I regret it. We had great seats for the game last night, and with it being the playoffs, the place was rocking. There were so many things I could have taken photos of. As I was about to grab my camera before we left, I made the mistake of asking Corey if I should. His answer was a resounding "no"...but at the game he agreed that I should have brought it. Next time I'll take a camera....but I don't know if we will be able to get any more good playoff tickets, even if the Mavs do advance.

Speaking of my camera...it's big. A digital Rebel that I love and have no problem using on vacations or at family gatherings, but I need a little "pocket" camera. I would not have hesitated to take a smaller camera last night. Something I can slide into my pocket or somehow get into the ridiculously small purse I carry now in the best interest of my back. I kinda want a Canon, as it will use the same software on my PC. I need to just go buy one. I've been talking about it way too long....

Speaking of my purse, this is it: http://www.coach.com/aspx/content/product.aspx?product_no=7345&category_id=68 in the off-white version. I love it, but I have yet to find a pair of sunglasses I can easily fit into it with my other things. I don't like those sunglasses with the nose-rest thingies. I like the plastic molded ones so that I can also use as a headband without getting them tangled in my hair. Especially since I can't get the @#&@% things into my purse and wear them on top of my head most of the time, LOL! I'm pretty proud of myself for paring down, as I used to carry a much larger purse. My shoulder got messed up when we lived in The Netherlands, though, so I've tried hard to take care of it since we got back.

Speaking of shoulders. Mine will be aching tomorrow. Julie (my personal trainer) worked me hard today, as usual. She commented on how much stronger I am, and I agreed, but told her it wasn't doing me any good because she keeps throwing harder exercises at me. I was kidding, of course...it's doing me a lot of good. Should have done this personal trainer thing a loooong time ago. Nothing like an appointment you are paying for to get you to the gym. She has also made me a lot more comfortable with all the machines and taught me exercises I can do without them. I'll be doing those on vacations.

Speaking of vacations, if I don't get off here and book our rental car for San Diego and a our last hotel for the Grand Canyon trip, Corey will have my head for dinner tonight. Gotta run....

I looked for you during the game - but the flashes to the bench were so fast I would have needed to know what color to look for!!

But I looked!

Ohhh, so that cute litte purse won't hold your sunglasses, eh? ;)

I was SO expecting to see this huge purse when we met for lunch!

:)

LOL! No. It won't hold them. Which frustrates me...it would hold them if they folded flatter like the ones with the nose-rest thingies, but the kind I like to use as a headband always fold so large, and then I have to try to fit other things in and around them. I can get them in if I take out one or two things and/or really pack it all precisely. I keep it packed pretty precisely, anyway, as there isn't much room for error. :D

But I usually wear them on top of my head anyway. habit. And I don't have any bangs. :D

Hi Sherilyn-I figured out that I should NEVER tell my personal trainer that I was sore. She will just make me hurt more in other places so I forget about it! Fortunately, I can get muscle relaxants over the counter in Canada! I enjoyed reading your blog- found you when you popped back into SS.
