I bought a little super compact camera today. And I will be taking it back Friday. The image quality is a problem....and I know I am comparing them to the exact same photos I'm taking (and printing on my Picturemate) with my Digital Reb, which gives me darn good quality, but they aren't even close. Too grainy. The color is off. So much for the Casio EX-Z120.
So I've spent the last several hours on c-net and dpreview driving myself nuts reading reviews, comparing prices and pixels and pros and cons and, and , and, and, aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh! I want good image quality, but this won't be my main camera...just my convenience camera...but the scrapbooker in me doesn't want to happen upon a really great shot with my little camera that won't blow up to 8x10, so I do have to pay attention to pixels. But I already own one expensive camera. I don't want to go whole hog on this one, too.
aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!
and Corey just got back from work (he came home and ate dinner and watched a little basketball and then went back to the office...not terribly unusual... nuts, maybe, but not unusual for him), so I will go rest my spinning head and try another camera Friday.

Good luck finding a good convenience camera. Be sure and let us know what you end up with...just in case anyone else is in need of one as well. ;)

LMAO
;)
I have the digi reb xt and am still using my old Kodak DX6490 as my 'smaller' camera even though it isn't that small (very square and somewhat bulky). Bought my brother a little Nikon Coolpix last year and it is awesome! Little thing takes great images, so maybe that is an option? Lisa
