One Snake Skin Sock

This is the most recent pattern from my Six Sox KAL. Done with the Koigu yarn in the top right of the yarn purchase photos...P107B. I love knitting with the Koigu...the tight twist on it makes for better stitch definition than I've been getting with other yarns, and that is what this pattern needs. I'm sure the yarn will "bloom" some once washed, since it is merino. This is a very quick and easy pattern and since I did a short sock, it went fast. This is also the first time I've used size 1's, and the needles are slightly shorter than my size 2's....just short enough that the end of the needle I am knitting onto pokes/rubs right against the inside of my right wrist. Hopefully my Knit Picks needles will arrive soon and I can try Magic Loop for socks.

I love the color combo and can't wait to try more of these handpainteds!

I finally joined the KAL and I have the pattern printed - but not started yet. I am half way through knitting a pair of socks for my dad - which I'd like to give him for his birthday next month - so I need to finish those first before I tackle the snake skin. I love the yarn you used for yours - very pretty colours!!!

Purdy! I figured you had been knitting, since you were scarce on HSS. :-) What's the KAL addie?
