So I'm sitting here on the sofa trying to get motivated to pack up the odds and ends. Most of the house is packed. Mom and Dad came over yesterday and helped. Dad and Corey did the garage, Mom did the master bedroom and bath, and I tackled the craft room, both of the extra bedroom closets, and odds and ends all over. Daddy took our paint with him that needs to be dried out and trashed and tomorrow the Salvation Army is going to pick up two dressers and a sewing table.
Now I just have lots of misc things to pack...some framed prints, cleaning supplies, misc office stuff, and a few major things like my big crockpot, baking dish, etc. I hope we have enough boxes. I have laundry baskets I can put to use if I need to and some medium sized trash bins.
And a hank of lace-weight silk/cashmere yarn that is partially wound. I started winding it into a ball when Corey was in England, but it was taking forever and I put it aside. Now I need to figure out how to transport it without making a mess of it. I think I can retwist the hank without too many problems. I hope. I mean, we are just moving down the road, practically.
Okay. Off I go to pack.

Dang it - I wish I knew you had dressers for Pick up!
DS is gathering pieces of furniture of the unfurnished house he and two other guys just signed the lease for - and a dresser would be one item - he really needs!
