So I found out that those adorable little boys that were all over me last weekend came down with strep throat while we were there.
I'm crossing my fingers that I don't have it. I looked it up on the handy dandy web and the incubation period is supposed to be 2-5 days. So if I don't get it by this weekend, I should be home free. With the work I am doing under a deadline in the bathroom (almost done stripping wallpaper) and our upcoming trip to the Grand Canyon and Vegas, I really don't need strep right now. I told Corey about it and I think he is about ready to rent a hotel room to get away from me until the coast is clear, LOL!
My throat feels a little funny this afternoon, but I can't tell if that is just my imagination since I am worried about it now. At least if I do get it, I know to get treatment immediately, so maybe it wouldn't be as bad of a case....

Oh No! See, my DH just hibernates in his office. But he did go get me Sherbet, Ice Cream and my prescription. If your throat is feeling funnier in the morning - RUN - don't walk - to your nearest doctor's office. My throat is not horribly sore yet, but it started yesterday as just scratchy and today was worse. So the doctor confirmed it is indeed strep.
