Knitting

This blog has been light on the knitting recently. Sorry about that. I've been knitting. Rather obsessively at times.

The squares for the lovey sized blanket. These need to be seamed together and then I'll pick up and knit a border.

Shells for the Russian Adventure blanket. I've been obsessed with this blanket since I got the yarn. I'm choosing the colors randomly from my bag. These will be joined with a border between them, then a border will be added around the edge. I need 36 and right now I am knitting on #16. I prefer not to think about the ends I am generating. I don't like weaving them in as I go, and I may be tackling these at 30,000 feet on our next flight.

I finished a Katja top for N. Done with Sugar and Cream cotton.

I've knit several bibs...two from the Mason Dixon pattern and one from a pattern I found on Ravelry. Two done with Sugar and Cream...the pastel multi one is done in Cotton Tots, I think.
I'm working on a baby dress, too. Red, white, and blue, it was to be N's 4th of July dress, but we won't have her home by then now, so I may just put her in it when we land and go through immigration. She will become a US citizen when we land in the US, and she will also retain her Russian citizenship.

Oh man, that is going to be a lot of ends to sew in once you are done with the Russian Adventure blanket.
