Spinach Feta rolls

So last Friday we had our first neighborhood dinner get-together for those of us interested in it. We all took appetizers or desserts and there were about 6-7 couples there. It was fun. It was good to meet our neighbors and get to know them. One of them even wants to learn how to knit. :-)

I took these Spinach Feta Rolls, a recipe I got off Ravelry:

1 8 oz. block of garden veggie cream cheese, softened to room temp

2 green onions, chopped

1 egg
1 package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed to get rid of excess moisture

8 oz feta cheese

3-4 cans of crescent rolls
Mix all ingredients together. (I used a food processor.) Put about a tablespoon of filling in each crescent roll and roll up. Bake at temperature recommended on crescent roll package until rolls are golden brown. These are good hot and at room temperature.
I also tried out the new breadmaker. I bought it for $10 at the NIN garage sale. My friend Dotty hasn't used it in a long while and decided to donate it. I used a mix from the grocery store for my first try and it was okay, but not great. I think I'll try one of the recipes from the book that came with it next time.
