Y'all will be happy to know that I made it to the championship game, aka The Confession Bowl. Who am I playing? The Misogynist.
It won't be an easy won for me, though. LT may see more limited playing time, especially considering SD's opponent, the Cardinals. But who knows, they shocked us all against Chicago the week I played Grossman, so maybe they will give SD a run for their money and force them to keep LT in the game.
Vegas was great and I'll report more on that later. The only bummer was the stomach bug I suffered through yesterday on the way home. Thankfully, Corey had upgraded us, so at least I was comfortable and able to sleep a bit on the way home, with the help of my Enya CD. This CD was a gift many years ago that I never would have bought for myself. It isn't the kind of thing I listen to around the house. But when I was flying back and forth to Amsterdam so much, I needed sleep and decided to buy a CD player and try blocking out the airplane noise. Then I dug out Enya and finally found the solution to my inability to sleep on planes. I never get more than a few hours, tops, but there are times when an hour or two is all you need. I have another CD, which I did buy for myself, that I also listen to on planes. The soundtrack of Conan the Barbarian. It's a good CD, really. I promise. LOL! Not always as conducive to sleep as Enya, basically the antithesis of Enya, but good all the same. I also like the movie, but maybe that's just me. The sequel was awful, but the original is actually a pretty good flick. According to Amazon, it's a good thing I bought this back in the day, as it is a rare CD now. I apparently have the Varese version.
