I slept from 6am to 6pm today. Woke up when C called from the office to tell me he is coming home soon for dinner and that he is starving. That was one hour and 45 minutes ago. I'm not surprised, but I am starving. He may never make it out of the office tonight.
We are looking forward to a real meal. I'd like a big salad at some point. We avoid uncooked veggies in Russia, although C did have lettuce and tomato on his sandwiches at the hotel in Samara and I ate some broiled tomatoes for breakfast one morning. We've been eating sandwiches and burgers and pizza and airline food for six days and a real meal will be nice, if he ever makes it home.
It's 4:45 am Moscow time. I may try to stay close to Moscow time this week. It might make it easier going back and single-parenting Nadia if I am on the right time zone. She will need to adjust when we get home and I've heard this can take weeks. will need to be on her schedule with her for a while until we get her settled, as we try to move her up an hour or so every day or two. She is accustomed to a very set schedule at the baby home and I need to try to keep her on it as much as possible during the transition. This whole thing will be traumatic enough for her.

I think that it is good to keep on Moscow time so once she is home you can slowly transition her to TX time. :-) jI know that when my sil's brother and his wife adopted their 2 boys, they stayed in Russia from the court date to the day they were able to pick up the boys.
What did you decide on for supper? I hear ya on wanting real food. Granted, when we were in Ireland they did have 'real' food but the thing I wanted most when we came home was an American breakfast with eggs that weren't scrambled or hard as a rock.
