Here are all the shells, laid out on their new home, the guest bed:
I apologize for the fuzzy photo..it was night and using a flash gave me really bad colors.
Here is one block joined together. Photo also taken at night in bad lighting.

If you are a knitter, take a deep breath. This is the back of one block. I calculated 157 ends to weave end. 14 per shell times 9 shells plus 31 ends for the sashing that connects them. I plan to do four blocks.

And here is the first block all blocked out. It was wavy and puckered until I wet it and shaped it and let it dry. Now it is flat and fabulous One down, three to go...and then I can do the sashing between the blocks and the edging.

this is really looking good!
I love this design and when you first posted it, I contemplated making one too. But I have changed my mind. Now that I know just how many ends would have to be woven in, I won't even attempt it!
It is looking fabulous though and I hope it is giving the the right "therapy" to deal with the wait.
Oh my, that is gorgeous Sherilyn! It looks much more regal as it comes together!
