It's 1:15 am here....and little N is nearly halfway through her first birthday. She will be eating lunch soon. She might get a cookie later this afternoon with her snack. No cake. No party. No one to hold her close and tell her they love her. How is she feeling today? Is she playful? Is she tired? Does she have a cold? Did she get any extra attention at all? Is she anywhere close to walking yet? It's been 2.5 months since we've seen her.
We're trying to get to you, baby girl. We're trying.
