Not going for the 23rd

No court date on the 23rd. We are now really hoping for the 30th. If we get the 6th, C will be totally screwed because that will happen during EOM close and he has to close the books because there simply isn't anyone else in his group to do it right now. He just moved into a new position and has no subordinates lined up yet! We are going to not think about that too much and hope for the best. It looks like our judge will go on vacation on August 20th. I hope we get in before then, but C is shaking in his boots about the 6th.

And now I have to go fill out new visa forms since we are having to apply again. The last visas we got will not be used. We are going to bite the bullet and apply for 90-day double entry visas this time....and since we might possibly be leaving on the 24th, I have to get those apps Fed Ex'd tonight with our passports so they have time to process. Hopefully this will be our last visa emergency....I'm waiting for a call back from C. He is in important meetings all day and is taking his out of town bosses to dinner tonight and I'm going to have to meet up with him at some point so he can sign his visa app. At least I have an extra passport photo for each of us on hand or this would not be doable...
