So yesterday it was sunny all day. We spent the day at the pool...sun in the am, shade in the afternoon. Then we watched the rather anti-climatic sunset ceremony/dive from Black Rock and walked over to a beach side restaurant where we had a great dinner, came home, watched about a half hour of TV, and then promptly fell asleep. Our clocks are not adjusted to Hawaii time which is fine with me. I like waking up early. I just can't seem to do it at home without a lot of incentive.
It has been sunny all morning, but we are putting off the crater drive until Monday when the forecast is "few showers". According to the only forecasts, it is supposed to turn rainy today so even though it looks great now, it may not be great later, especially on the other side of the island where the crater is. Doing the crater at sunrise is the big thing, but we'd have to leave our hotel by 2:30 am at the latest and that really isn't C's thing and I'm not sure I care enough about it, either.
We are off to Lahaina to see the big banyan tree and some other stuff around town. Then we may lounge around by the pool this afternoon if it is still nice....Aloha.
