I won my fantasy match-up this weekend, 125.37 to 86.27. I dropped Ricky Waters and picked up both Delhomme and Cassel this week to replace Brady and played Cassel yesterday. Not fantastic, but better than nothing. C has Cutler as his back-up behind Peyton, and we are discussing a trade. Cutler has been a fantastic fantasy QB this year. Yesterday he racked up a phenomenal 50 points. C played Peyton, who is struggling right now, but he doesn't really believe in sitting his stars, believing that in the end, they will come through. I hope he keeps that mentality and doesn't decide to hold on to Cutler for a while, because I really want/need Cutler. C needs another decent wide receiver. He has Boldin, but his others are weak. I'm probably going to have to give up Santonio Holmes for Cutler...I won't give up Calvin Johnson, who is turning into my top receiver.
I've got some new projects on the needles...one is a gift, so I don't want to post photos. Another is a red scarf for the Red Scarf Project. This is my mindless knitting project right now. I need to sew together my Monkee, and yesterday I pulled out C's sweater to work on. Once I finish the sleeves I will be able to seam it all together.
We saw the Eagles last night. They played for three hours with a 15 minutes intermission, which is almost twice as long as they played when we saw them last year in Los Angeles. I must say, they are singers who sound exactly the same in concert as they do on the albums...especially Don Henley. They played more songs from their new album last night than they did last year, but there were plenty of old songs last night as well. It was a good night.
C seems to think he is cured from his most recent bout of Concertitis. August and September were busy months for us, with Steely Dan, Tom Petty, the Eagles, and Jersey Boys thrown in for good measure. We had tickets for Yes but they had to cancel due to illness. C knows he needs to get it all out of his system because once we get our son, we won't be doing concerts for a while.
C eyed the t-shirts last night, but wouldn't buy one. His logic escapes me. Considering how much the tickets cost, the over-priced tees are a drop in the bucket, but he doesn't ever want to pay that much for a tee. He doesn't mind if I want to buy one every now and then...I got a tee at Van Halen and one for The Police. I found out which one he prefers and think I'll order one on-line for his birthday in November.....

If you were to take a look at my husbands side of the closet you would see two distinct type of shirts. Button up/ polo shirts for work and Concert T's. He buys one at every concert he goes to which is a lot of shows. I think it is a great way to remind yourself at what a great time you had every time you wear the shirt!
HI :) I've put one of my ff players on waivers. I'm going to have a big matchup this week and I need all the points I can get. Take care and I hope you have a great week.
