Sigh.

I got my much anticipated Knit Picks order in today. Ordered some of the new Harmony needles...got some dpns in size 1 - 2.25mm. They are VERY cool. Can't wait to use them. They may help me recover my sock mojo, LOL! They are not as bright as they look in the catalog or on my monitor. They are much more subtle and quite sharp. I'm hoping they will be slicker than bamboo but not slip out of the stitches as easily as metal.

I also ordered a Harmony fixed needle in size 2 - 2.75mm. And a nickel one. Need a circular that size to do the butterfly dress. But I ordered the wrong length. 16" cable instead of 32". Sigh.

Just finished another order...and since you get free shipping with a $45 order, of course I had to order a few more things. :D But still. I was happy not to order again for a while and now I have to wait 5 or more days for the new needles.

C flew off to China today. Actually, he flew to Los Angeles where he has a layover and is doing Yom Kippur dinner at his sister's. his flight leaves there for China at 2am or so, L.A. time, which is 4am my time. He told me he'd call, as he's sure I'll be up. I told him I wasn't so sure. I went to bed late and got up with an alarm today. We'll see. I want to get some sleep so I can watch the games tomorrow.

Speaking of which, Mom, I made some changes to my team. Based on the last two weekends, my opponent's QB should have a record-breaking game. I hope I don't go 0-3. The only comfort I have is that Geoff is lower in the standings than I am.

I'm still starting Brees, Fitzgerald, Johnson, Heap, Stover, and the Pittsburg defense. I'm also starting Brandon Marshall, a WR for Denver(Evans is in timeout until he produces some points), and Derrick Ward, the Giants RB (whom I started last week). I play Tony, who is starting Peyton Manning, Torry Holt (StL WR), Ronald Curry (Oak WR), LaMont Jordan (Oakland RB...injured but probable), Jeremy Shockey (NYG TE), Graham (the Cin Kicker), and the Minnesota defense.

Rudy is up against Stan this week.
