Today I got up and put on my Winnipeg shirt.
Yesterday was the third anniversary of my friend Donna's death. She died of pancreatic cancer in 2004 and left behind her husband and two daughters. I'm on my way to go scrapbook with friends in memory of her. I met Donna on the internet and made a special trip to meet her in person in Winnipeg, CA a few weeks before she passed on. I still think of Donna often, especially this time of year, and the borders I will be working on today will be a tribute to her as well, since some of them are for an internet secret pal I have on a scrapbooking board.
So if you knew Donna in MB, I hope you are remembering her, too this weekend. And if you didn't know her, here is a link to some of her work:

And here she is at the ospital, where we only got to visit with her a few hours before we had to leave to drive back to Texas. You can click on the photos to enlarge them.

Dear Sherilyn, this is a very touching story and by it you make us all think of Donna for a while...sp11
Thanks for posting about Donna - I always remember it too because of C's birthday. I surely miss her.
