24 points and endless stockinette

pennington came through with 24 points for me. It would have been 26 except that he threw an interception at the very end. My opponent has Cotchery, so thankfully the one TD Pennington threw was to another receiver. And that Jets game was a FAST game. They went to the half well before anyone else and finished while some other games still have most of the 4th quarter to go.

Brown is at 27 points with most of the 4th quarter left, according to Stattracker, which may be lagging a bit.

Romo and The Boys have had an awesome game...what fun to watch! And I have to say Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are my favorite announcers for good reason. When Romo ran one in for 15 yards after his phenomenal save of the snap that went over his head, the announcers just kept their mouth shut and let us listen to the crown going absolutely nuts.

I'm knitting the never-ending foot. I've decided my gauge will allow this to be a size 12 and maybe some guy over there in the mountains of Afghanistan has a hard time finding size 12 socks...so size 12 it is. At least it is worsted weight and I can knit stockinette in worsted on dpns without looking. I am putting in two garter stitches on each side of the foot to allow a little extra stretch. I didn't want to do the whole sock in ribbing because that isn't as fast or as mindless.

I don't know if I'll ever knit C a pair of size 11's in fingering weight...he hasn't been asking for socks...I'm not sure he would appreciate them. maybe someday if we ever move up north I'll think about it.
