To answer Yvonne's question (and potentially there are many out there who have the same), we are still waiting for China and are doing what is called a "concurrent" adoption from Russia. There are timing issues with adoption...most countries won't let you adopt within a year or so of bringing home another child. Since the China wait is sooooo long, we won't have any issues there. We should be home with our Russian son for quite some time before we ever get our Chinese daughter.
And yes, we have decided to ask for a son from Russia. And we are leaving the twins option open in China. We won't quite be the United Nations family that Brad and Angelina have built, but gosh, I do sometimes envy them the number of children they are able to comfortably support.

Sending prayers and good thoughts to you as you go through the adoption journey. I'm excited for you that you may have a son sooner than you expected. It could be a true millionaire's family with a boy first, then a girl!
