Yesterday morning we dyed eggs. This was N's first time helping and she was very careful.
N excitedly waited for her cousins to arrive and then after a mid-afternoon dinner, the two patriarchal Easter Bunnies went out and fulfilled their duties. My parents live on a couple of acres in the countryside, on a tree-filled lot, so there are tons of hiding places and with four kids involved (well, three kids and one teen), there were a whole bunch of eggs to find.
The bunny basket is one she made at pre-school, and it was our overflow basket for when the other one got too heavy.
Yesterday she ate half of one peanut butter chocolate egg and then she was done. Last night after we got home and she was asleep, I went through her unopened plastic eggs and exchanged the sour/tart candies for little chocolate ones. I feel bad for her opening so many eggs to find candy that she doesn't like. I consider myself lucky that she paces herself with candy. Wonder how long it will last!
We are still debating whether to do a miniature Passover Seder. Maybe tomorrow night. She's too young to understand most of it and C and I aren't into doing the whole drawn out thing for ourselves, but I might fix a Seder plate and we can explain the basic framework to her. We'll see.

oh my, what a surprise to see how she has grown! I didnt think it was possible for her to get any prettier- but it has. Sounds like a fun time had by all.
