So a couple of weeks ago, N was wedged on the love seat inbetween C and I. I was crocheting and she asked for a "stick" of her own and some "warn".


She was very serious about it and intently tried to crochet for about five minutes, which is like a week in toddler time.

Then she got really upset because she couldn't make Mickey Mouse. Since then, she has told me she wants to make a sweater. Nothing like lofty goals!

We are a year or two away from her being really ready to delve into the fiber arts, but for now she enjoys playing with her "cochet hook" every once in a while. I let her play with some plastic ones and at least these are a bit safer than knitting needles are at this stage.
