I do it all by myself

A common refrain at our house. She is very independent now...and getting a little more interested in using the potty again. Not as much as I would like, but I will take what I can get. She's getting to be such a big girl. She is very friendly and outgoing. Has no problem saying hello to every single person she meets. Not a shy bone in her body 99.9% of the time.

She loves being outside. Loves going to the park and constantly asks if that is where we are going. She did really well when we drove to New Orleans last month. We split it up over two days going each way and she did really good in the car.

She's a handful at times, and can get quite opinionated, but when it comes down to it I can usually get her to understand what needs to be done or that disobeying is not a good option. She loves to give us hugs and kisses and is devoted to her grandparents. For the most part she is obedient and happy and easy to get along with.

She loves doing art and we do projects at home as well as at art class once a week.

She's pretty good about not getting into things she shouldn't. I can leave my knitting a crochet out, within reason, and she leaves it alone. Ditto the laptop.

She is very creative and loves to pretend, pulling ideas out of her head and converting everyday objects into whatever she "needs" at the time. She loves to sing and is very interested in "making music" with whatever she can get her hands on, whether it is a real instrument or a pretend one.

It's hard to believe she will be three soon. Our baby girl is growing up!
