At 2 am this morning, I was wide awake. C and I watched shows we had recorded until almost 4, so I knew leaving at 6am for Austin was out of the question. He couldn't go with me today, but will go with me tomorrow, so even if we are dealing with jet lag, we can take turns driving and sleeping.

I was going to see my oldest brother tomorrow, but now it looks like we will miss that. I'm disappointed that I couldn't go today and get this petition in the mail, but there was just no way it was going to happen. In the mean time, the police department called and my letters are ready.
