On the road again

I have a photo to show y'all, but I can't get it off the phone cuz I can't find the right cord. Looks like I may have to buy another one.

Tomorrow morning I'm hitting the road with Mom and Dad to drive to SW Indiana for a family reunion. I need to be there by 10...I'll set the alarm for 7:30, and it's 1:30am now.

yeah.

Wasn't planning on being up this late.

But I got very behind today after procrastinating yesterday and I never did finish everything I needed to do (NIN newsletter, anyone?). We had a concert to go to tonight. The Police. Yes, we saw them a second time. Probably because Elvis Costello was opening and DH is an Elvis fan. But we had such a great time at the first concert we decided to do a repeat and this one was awesome, too. I have photos and video, but that is also on the camera. Not that the camera does either well. We were really close and if I had had a real camera, I could have gotten great photos...but at the last concert the ushers were all over cameras, so I didn't take mone. At this one? noone gave a damn. people were taking photos all over the place. Who knew.

I do have a personal message for Sting: lose the scraggly grey beard, dude. Without it, you are still totally hot...with it, not so much, although the muscle shirts are always appreciated and you've still got those eyes...

Anyway, I am off to bed...I've been up loading songs onto my new iPod. I got it for the trip. I'm pretty proud of myself for figuring out how to use it...not that it is hard...it's just that when it comes to stuff like this, I'm still in the Dark Ages.

I may take the laptop with me to Indiana. I'm assuming the hotels we are staying in will have some WiFi. So I may be able to check in from there. Or maybe not. We'll see. In any case, I'll be back next week. C is flying into Indiana for the weekend, but I'll be back mid-week, as I'm riding with the parents.
