Compliment

So I wore my new headband to the grocery store today and as I was loading groceries in my trunk, a lady stopped and asked me where I got it because she really liked it and wants one. When I told her I made it, she said she knits, too. I would have given her my blog addy, but I couldn't remember how the whole address went in blogger, so I gave her the name of the headband to Google...only I told her it was the In the Trees headband, not In the Pines.

Ack!

Now for a small rant. Why does my Norton virus scanning software take HOURS yto scan? And why does it always lock up my PC when it does, even if I try to pause it?

And why, when I log off or shut down the PC, does a window come up saying it is closing Adobe Acrobat? Is Acrobat running constantly in the background after I open a file with it and close it?

And you know how when you buy mushrooms and they look so white and pretty and thena couple of days later are all slimy and brown? I started taking mine out of the packaging the day I buy them, then putting them in a small plastic colander lined with a paper towel I fold over the top. Keeps 'em nice and dry and they last a lot longer.
