Disneyland day 2

So between Ravelry and Facebook, it's harder to feel the urge to update my blog. But then there are those folks who aren't on either Ravelry or Facebook who like to see photos (ahem, Mom, ahem), and the blog is a good way to keep track of what is what since someday I am going to get back to scrapbooking on a regular basis and wonder what the hell I've been doing for the last few years.

So here are some photos from our second day at Disney, where we saw Goofy at his house when we were about to ride the little rollercoaster in Toon Town, so we made a bee line to get in line and then fervently crossed our fingers that he wouldn't leave for a break before we got to him. Goofy is her favorite.

Speaking of rollercoasters, she got to ride the Gadget Coaster in Toon Town and also made the cut (just barely, but then they never even measured her) for the Matterhorn. After seeing her cousins ride the Gadget Coaster before her, she was hands-up all the way on both coasters. Of course, Mommy was holding on to make sure she didn't get jostled too much.

Her cousins, aunt, and soon-to-be-uncle are crazy about her, and of course it is always fun to see Disney with a three-year-old, so we had a great time when we went back with them. I have photos from back when we took B and M when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Now they are 15 and 13 (14 next month).

Since Disney is just a day-trip from their house, going to Disneyland with N is already becoming an annual tradition.

It's a good thing all these other people are around to take her on the spinning rides, although C doesn't mind doing it when it is just him and me with her. I can suck it up for the occasional merry-go-round ride if I am medicated (on Bonine or Dramamine) if C isn't around, but if someone else is there to take her for a spin, I don't push my luck. Let's hear it for modern medicine, though, because I need it just to ride in the back of a car, so I definitely need it on rollercoasters.
The Pooh ride was one of her favorites. Nothing scary at all (Alice in Wonderland freaked her out), and it's so funny to watch her go through a ride like Pooh or It's a Small World, waving at all the characters and puppets.

Just like your mom, I've been looking forward to seeing more Disney pictures. N had a wonderful time...as you all did. And yes, the Goofy picture definitely needs to be in a frame.
