Lacy Baktus

There has been knitting going on around here.

For some reason, I went through a stage where practically everything I started got frogged (ripped out/undone, for you non-knitters...it is called frogging because you "rip it, rip it"). I've had a little case of Starteritis and have several things on the needles right now, but this is a finished object from May. I still need to weave in the ends.

Pattern: Lacy Baktus
Yarn: Sereknitty in the Pomegranate colorway, a gift from Liz
Needles: size 3

This was a quick and easy little knit. The colors are gorgeous and this was a great pattern for heavily variegated yarn. It is a little shawlette, scarf sized. I will probably wear it, most of the time, with the V in front and the tails wrapped around my neck back to the front again. It's the perfect size for that. It doesn't really need blocking, but I was going to block it anyway...except that I haven't been able to find my blocking wires since before we brought N home. I guess I need to make a concerted effort pretty soon to locate them, although I've searched in all the usual places to no avail.
