And here I am knitting on the dock in front of the Four Seasons on Town Lake the next day while waiting for Hill Country Weavers to open. I assumed this position on a Kauai beach last year and got some odd looks. This time I had other knitters with me for reinforcement...we knitted everywhere we went and it was great.
Last, but not least, the red velvet with cream cheese frosting cupcake I got from the cupcake Airstream across from Hill Country after our first visit (we went Saturday, then left quickly to make it to the garage sale the owner was having where I picked up some good deals) So then we went back to Hill Country Sunday to do some proper yarn fondling...I mean...shopping. Mmmmm, good. Poor Kristina...she was so good on her diet and I simply wasn't helping matters.
