This morning I got up a little early, put on something other than jeans (I don't HAVE a lot other than jeans), picked up my friend Dottie along with a suitcase of NIN stuff, and drove down to Duncanville to an Ebby Halliday office. NIN has been there before, a few years ago. One lady there is an avid NIN supporter and the office regularly contributes. We did a presentation on what we do and what we need and had a nice lunch with them. They had collected $325 to give us today and will be collecting more donations of money and baby items. :D Then Dottie and I met Marge at P&B to pick up flannel and batting and delivered most of it to Linda at the rec center. Then Dottie and Marge and I (and Marge's grandson, Wilder) visited for a while before I came home.
Here are photos I took several months ago of the three of them. Marge and Linda were cutting quilt kits and Dottie was ironing (and hamming it up). This is Dottie's garage/workroom, which has been taken over by NIN fabrics and supplies. The wall you can't see behind me is covered in shelves of fabric.

Now I'm just trying to stay awake and waiting for Corey to come home. I haven't heard from him yet about how late he needs to work. Hope I can get dinner on the table before LOST comes on. :D Last night we ate out because we were out looking at microwaves and double ovens. We'd like to get new ones before too long. But I have fish in the fridge that needs to be either cooked tonight or frozen!
