Just nod if you can hear me.
Is there anyone at home?

Well, now that we are all comfortably numb....
Well, it's obvious that Facebook has really impinged on my blogging. It's so much easier to pop updates, photos, and videos out there.
So here is what we have been doing for the last few months:
I finished the bunny sweater. Just in time for her to become obsessed with superheroes. She picked out the colors. It doesn't have a superhero logo on it, but she still likes it and it is big enough that she should be able to wear it next year as well.
My parents came for Thanksgiving,
and C turned 50. I had turned 44 a few days before.
We celebrated Chanukah
and someone got rollerskates on the last night. She is quite the Rollergirl now.
Then we went to Los Angeles for 12 days over Christmas. We went to Disneyland and the zoo and visited C's side of the family. We had planned to go down to San Diego but cancelled that since I was progressively more and more sick with a cold, then sinusitis, then bronchitis, but N's stellar immune system meant that she only had the sniffles for about 2 days.
N was right at 40" with shoes on, so she got to ride more stuff at Disneyland, including Splash Mountain. That's me holding her at the back behind C, with N's hands up and mouth wide open before the last big drop. She LOVES rollercoasters. Before she rode her first kiddie coaster a couple of years ago, she saw her teen cousins riding with their hands up and since then she has been a hands-up-all-the-way girl. I just hold on to her and try to keep her from jostling around too much.
Since we got back, she has done the limbo in a princess dress,
started this:
and there has been a whole lot of this:
