This stay-at-home-mom thing has been light on the staying at home.
I've got a very long list of things to do today to get ready for a trip, so I thought I'd throw up a few photos while I drink some tea and get ready for the day ahead.
Mother's Day was fun. My mom is probably going to hate the fact that
I put a photo of her out here, but I like photos of her, even if she
doesn't. I feel very fortunate to celebrate our day together as a family
each year.

Somebody had her first smore that weekend. After 15.5 years of marriage, 17+ years together, I discovered that not only didn't my hubby know what a smore was, but he wouldn't try one because he "hates marshmallows". It took me nearly five years to accept that he really doesn't like caramel in any form, so I'm still absorbing the marshmallow/smore thing. I mean, I get not liking marshmallows by themselves, but smores? Smores are so much more than marshmallows.
That weekend was also N's end-of-year preschool program. She attends a Spanish immersion school, so they dress in Central and South American costumes and sing and dance in Spanish. The school always does such a good job with the little program and I know N was super excited to have Grandmom and Grandpa come see her. We got there early and had great seats, so I was able to get a good photo of her during the procession in.
