My oldest nephew aced the math section on the PSAT. Aced as in perfect score. And he did very well on verbal, too.
John Robert was the first child I had ever really been around, being as I am so much younger than my brothers. When he came along, I didn't know what to expect. I did think that it was perhaps not entirely normal for a 6yo to be the banker when playing adult Monopoly, able to do the math by himself. And he was great to play Life with...he always worked out the math of every move before I had a chance to think about it.
